Food and coat drive!

We are coming up on the Christmas season and giving is in the air. We will be having a food and coat drive for people in need and gather as many coats, scarfs, gloves, and just anything warm along with canned food, and also gifts. If you would like to be part of this wonderful group and would like to give this season please contact me and help us feed someone or keep them warm throughout the cold months.

We are currently looking for a venue to have a fun get together for everyone and celebrate this wonderful season with giving. We will update you soon on the time and place. The only catch is in order to get in you must bring any kind of donation small or large, anything helps. We are so excited for this event and can't wait to see helpful loving people come together and make a difference!

I had so much fun on Saturday attending the Bountiful Tri to help support Skyler! It was so much fun to see all of those people come together to support him and his family. I even got to see my Aunt who actually participated in the race and did extremely well, so congrat's to her!!! I hope we can all continue to participate in anything and everything to help others! Thank's again for all of those that came, family and friends. Love you all xoxo

It's the little things.......

Today I'm noticing myself taking things for granted. Thing's aren't going as I had planned them or wanted, I'm so appreciative of the Deeksha class I took, It taught me to stop and NOTICE! I've noticed how I feel cheated by stupid little things, My husband is on vacation (without me or our 2 year old) My plans for tonight have fallen through and to top it off I looked through my phone to find a "friend" to do something with and I couldn't find one.....how pathetic! I don't know why I felt compelled to tell "the world" my  issues of the day....I guess I just wanted to remind myself and other's who have forgotten that there are so many other thing's going on that don't even compare to my stupid "Issues" of the night. I am so thankful for my select few friend's I've got and my family. I need to remember how lucky I am to have so many people in my life to make me happy and fell the love! I don't ever want to forget how lucky I am, so to all my family and friends your amazing and I hope I tell you enough how much I love and appreciate our relationship and the love I get in my life from you all! My world is a happy place, and I'm so happy I am reminded of that everyday!!!!

Hey everyone this is one of the first event's I've found to post about and I couldn't be more thrilled. This is my friend Marci's little nephew, He has been fighting cancer for a while. They are having the 2011 Bountiful Triathlon and he is the beneficiary and could use all of the support he can get! It will be an all day event, and even if all of the volunteer slots are taken you can still come and show your support for this family, they have been through so much and I know they would love to have everyone join them for the event! So Plan this for Aug 6th and come join us, bring everyone you can and show the love!

Remember that something as simple as a smile, holding a door, waving, saying hi, something so little can impact someone on so many different levels! I know from experience when i'm in a hurry, stressed out to the max trying to get my toddler and I into a store and someone holds the door for me I can't express how sweet that is, and it's something I think about throughout my day. It make's me want to do nice thing's also. We all have the power to spread the love and kindness. Doing something small for one person can impact more than that single person, it can impact many! Let's all remember to think of other's and do something little, because something little will become something big! Let's all spread the love and continue little act's of kindness!
